Excellent customer service although this wasn't the right product.
I purchased this disc from ITC Technologies because my laptop was having issues. I figured this disc might help fix it and, for the price, I couldn't see any reason not to give it a shot. Unfortunately the issues my laptop is having are much more serious than that. The disc couldn't help me. I contacted ITC Technologies and asked them for advice. To my surprise, they replied to my emails quickly, they were very nice and didn't make me feel stupid like some other places do, and they helped me out to the best of their abilities through emails. I wish all businesses could handle their customer services the way ITC Technologies does.

A virus had crippled my machine and I was able to use the ACRS when my system would not boot. I was able to boot the system off the live operating system (which looks similar to Windows OS) and had immediate access to the hard drive, with the help of the support staff (which they provide free) I was able to make a complete backup of my last 10 years worth of photos. OMG, if i had lost those I would cry for a year. None the less, they are now safe on 12 DVDs in my safety deposit box, thanks for helping ITC. After the recovery, I worked under ITC's direction to remove the viruses so that we would not have to reinstall the operating system and so far everything has been great, very happy indeed!

My computer would not boot but now i dont care
actually, my windows xp stopped working and i cant bring myself to purchase 7 or vista. Well with this disc, i can boot the full linux live cd which is entirely windows like operating system in itself, I can access my old windows files right through there and even open all my office documents. Best part is, I cant break, I've tried, but i cant because it loads off the cd, everytime you turn it on, work as if it were a brand new installation. Funny thing is, it boots faster than Windows ever did. This makes life feel alot more simple since i dont really have to worry about my computer anymore, thanks.

Great product, worth the money
The ACRS disc has alot of great features such as booting your system when it wont boot Windows. it includes two live operating systems, one can be used for diagnostics and the other can be used as a full blown computer which is very cool. The system also has a suite of security tools fow Windows, so if you dont have virus, malware, and spyware protection... you will soon. The disc also has a bunch of other stuff although I have not tried it all. I know that there is a windows password reset tool (to access and windows system) and alot of utilities to test various hardware.I'll report back when ive had more time to check it out.

Impressive Design And Fast Technology - 5 Stars All Around
First, the packaging. Western Digital (WD) does an impressive job of securely packaging this hard drive with a minimal amount of waste. There's no unnecessary plastic or cardboard.This 2 TB drive has to be plugged into the wall socket as well as powered with a USB cable. One of my major complaints about electronics products are the ridiculously short power cables. This My Book Essential External Hard Drive has an impressively long power cable - which is a plus for any experienced tech user. WD figures the customer is smart enough not to accidentally strangle themselves with a long power cord. Wonderful device!!!
Bought this for my wife as a Christmas present, replacing a battery operated device that went bad. Turns out we both love this unit! Cleans rings to showroom quality, also tried it on a pair of glasses, first noting the built up gunk on the nose bridges before placing them in the unit. After a quick dip they were like brand new! I couldn't believe how thorough the cleaning is! I'm a tough person to please, but this device has exceeded my expectations. I especially like how you can use regular water, or even a bit of detergent of your choice, no mysterious cleaners to worry about.

Impressive Cleaning with Useful Timer Settings
I'm extremely pleased with New Trent's CD-3800 Ultrasonic Cleaner. It's surprisingly powerful.This cleaner has five pre-timed settings, which I have to admit are handy, but this ultrasonic's cleaning power is what has really impressed me and my family. We've used it for different things, but jewelry is where it really `shines' - pardon the pun! This ultrasonic removes hairspray, oils from lotion, fingerprints, etc., leaving our jewelry shining like new. Unlike a "sonic" cleaner, which uses vibrations only, we've trusted this ultrasonic on some of our more delicate items; a pair of antique eyeglasses (gently but thoroughly cleaned them), an antique magnifying glass with filigree and delicate handle (two cycles, one to clean the glass and filigree end, then turned the magnifier around to clean the handle with another cycle, leaving the lid open both times).There are 5 automatic settings - push the Set button for the pre-timed setting you desire, press On and let...

This is the first jewelry cleaner I've purchased (other than the usual solutions at the box stores). It arrived quickly and I put it to immediate use that evening. Thus far I'm pleased with it. I would definitely recommend one that allowed you the option of running it for longer periods of time as this one does. Several necklaces I have required the longest setting, several times - but they were very discolored. My collection mainly consists of costume/fashion jewelry and that has cleaned up very nicely. Cleans best when adding a drop of dish soap (I always use Dawn), its amazing when you look at the discolored water and see how dirty your jewelry really is!Don't know yet about the lifespan of this unit - it isn't used everyday so I would expect it to last a while.One consideration: it doesn't clean my diamond ring as well as I would have liked - it just doesn't sparkle as well as after the jeweler has it. But that's to be expected I guess. So far, I can recommend...
